Wk 11 — Student Choice — Part 4
My first drawing highlighted my strength in shading. The pencil shading in the characters, Hogwarts, and the train made the drawing stand out because of the intense detail work.
My strength in the second drawing was the coloring. I had more time to get that cloudy/smokey effect i was trying to convey and the ombre effect looks cleaner.
I had some really positive and helpful feedback from my classmates and i really tried to implement them in my second drawing. One of my classmates sugguested to expand further and i liked that idea! So i decided to add more staple pieces to my drawing.
In my second drawing i added another Harry Potter staple piece; the Nimbus 2000. Harry’s first broomstick to start off his athletic career on the Gryfindor Quidditch team. I wanted to fill up my canvas with as much as i could to elimate any empty spaces.
I think my second draft overpowered my first draft, it was more put together and complete. Im really happy on how it turned out!
